PrimeGuard was developed to support security companies that need to manage guards, shifts, live deployment, field visibility, workforce records, and commercial workflows through one connected platform. Instead of managing scheduling, guard information, location visibility, payroll, and invoicing separately, the system brought these functions into a structured workforce management environment designed for the operational needs of the UK security market.

    Create an end-to-end security workforce product

    The requirement was to design and develop a complete platform that could support the realities of security workforce management. PrimeGuard needed to help teams plan shifts, manage guard profiles, organise available guard pools, monitor live operations, view workforce activity through GIS, and connect completed work with payroll and invoicing processes. The platform also needed mobile access for field users and a web-based control environment for operations teams.

    Centangle worked across the full product lifecycle for PrimeGuard, from understanding security workforce operations and planning the system architecture to designing the user experience and developing the mobile and web platform. The engagement included consultancy, UI/UX design, shift and workforce workflow planning, GIS map integration, mobile application development for iOS and Android, web platform development, REST API architecture, cloud deployment direction, and connected operational modules.

When these workflows are handled separately, operations teams face repeated coordination gaps.
