Fragmented Application Handling
Applications, documents, and applicant information needed to move from scattered channels into one structured system.
Ignite
A digital funding portal built to streamline innovation grant access and application management

Project Overview
The Ignite Funding Portal was designed as a structured digital gateway for Pakistan’s technology and innovation ecosystem, helping applicants access funding opportunities more clearly while giving programme teams a better way to manage submissions, documents, reviews, and funding-related workflows in one organised platform.

The Mandate
Ignite needed a digital portal that could support programme discovery, applicant registration, application submission, document handling, review workflows, and administrative management while keeping the experience simple for startups, innovators, researchers, and technology teams.
The Environment
Innovation funding involves multiple programmes, users, eligibility requirements, documents, and review stages, so the portal needed to replace scattered emails, spreadsheets, attachments, and manual follow-ups with a clearer digital access point for applicants and a more controlled workflow for programme teams.
Our Role
Centangle developed the Ignite Funding Portal as a public sector digital platform focused on applicant journeys, programme information, submission workflows, admin review capability, and reporting visibility, helping transform funding access into a more structured and manageable digital process.
The Challenge
Funding programmes involve several moving parts, including programme information, applicant eligibility, forms, supporting documents, review stages, and administrative oversight. When these processes are handled manually, applicants can face confusion and programme teams can struggle to track submissions consistently.
The challenge was to develop a digital portal that could organise funding access, simplify application submission, centralise applicant data, and support a clearer review process. The system needed to work for both external applicants and internal teams managing public sector funding workflows.

Applications, documents, and applicant information needed to move from scattered channels into one structured system.
Different funding opportunities could involve eligibility checks, documents, forms, and review steps that needed clear workflow support.
Programme teams needed a better way to monitor submissions, applicant activity, review progress, and funding pipeline status.
Startups, innovators, and applicants needed a simpler way to find programmes, understand requirements, and submit applications.
The Solution
Centangle developed the Ignite Funding Portal as a structured web platform for programme discovery, applicant registration, submissions, document handling, reviews, tracking, and reporting. The solution gave applicants a clearer funding journey while helping programme teams manage applications, records, and review workflows in one organised digital system.

FEATURE 05
Supporting documents, application files, programme material, and review-related records are organised in one system for easier access, verification, and record keeping.
FEATURE 06
Dashboards help administrators monitor application activity, submission volumes, review progress, programme movement, and overall portal performance.
The Ignite Funding Portal was delivered through a structured process focused on understanding funding workflows, applicant needs, review requirements, platform architecture, interface design, and digital portal development.
PHASE ONE
Understanding Ignite’s funding programmes, applicant groups, eligibility needs, review stages, document requirements, and administrative goals.
PHASE TWO
Structuring how programmes, applicants, forms, documents, review queues, status updates, and admin workflows would connect inside the portal.
PHASE THREE
Designing web interfaces for programme discovery, applicant registration, form submission, document upload, admin review, and dashboards.
PHASE FOUR
Developing the funding portal with applicant access, programme listings, submission workflows, document handling, review tools, and dashboard visibility.
PHASE FIVE
Testing platform workflows, validating submission journeys, refining admin views, and supporting launch readiness.
The Ignite Funding Portal brought programme discovery, application submission, document handling, reviews, and reporting into one structured digital platform, giving applicants and programme teams a clearer way to manage innovation funding workflows.
