QA Specialist – Mobile Applications

Key Responsibilities
1. Perform manual testing of mobile applications on Android and/or iOS devices. 2. Develop, maintain, and execute test cases, scenarios, and test plans based on functional and business requirements. 3. Conduct functional, regression, smoke, sanity, usability, and exploratory testing. 4. Implement AI-powered workflows for automated testing to improve test coverage, efficiency, and defect detection. 5. Use AI tools to assist in generating test cases, automating repetitive testingtasks, identifying potential defects, and improving QA processes. 6. Explore opportunities to integrate AI into existing testing workflows and continuously improve testing practices. 7. Identify, reproduce, document, track, and verify bugs using Jira or similar tools. 8. Test key workflows, including registration, login, navigation, forms, notifications, and session management. 9. Test app behavior under different network conditions, including Wi-Fi, mobile data, and intermittent connectivity. 10. Verify app behavior during interruptions, background activity, permission requests, and orientation changes. 11. Perform compatibility testing across screen sizes, devices, and operating systemversions using physical devices or emulators. 12. Verify UI consistency, responsiveness, usability, and user experience. 13. Perform basic API testing using Postman and validate backend integrations. 14. Collaborate with developers and product teams to investigate defects and ensureresolution. 15. Conduct retesting and regression testing after bug fixes and new releases. 16. Document test results, defects, and QA reports. 17. Support release testing before deployment. Requirements 1. Minimum 1 year of professional QA experience, preferably in mobile applicationtesting. 2. Hands-on experience testing Android and/or iOS applications. 3. Understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and SDLC. 4. Ability to write and execute test cases and scenarios independently. 5. Familiarity with Jira or similar bug-tracking tools 6. Basic understanding of REST APIs and practical familiarity with Postman. 7. Ability to identify, analyze, reproduce, and document defects. 8. Understanding of mobile-specific testing scenarios, including network changes, interruptions, permissions, and session management. 9. Interest in using AI tools to improve QA workflows and implement AI- assisted testing solutions. 10. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. 11. Good communication and collaboration skills. 12. Willingness to work on-site and coordinate during regular working hours. Preferred Skills 1. Experience testing both Android and iOS applications. 2. Familiarity with AI-powered testing tools, AI-assisted test-case generation, or automated test workflows. 3. Basic experience with test automation frameworks or scripting. 4. Familiarity with Android Studio, Xcode, and emulators. 5. Basic SQL and database validation skills. 6. Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. 7. Basic knowledge of mobile performance, security, and compatibility testing.
