My name is Nazish Khattak and I have completed my Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Peshawar. In the recent past, I have worked with organizations like Express News, Suno FM 89.4 (ISPR Radio) and Free and Fair Election Network (FAFEN) in media-related positions.
Switching entirely to digital media from the mainstream media was a big challenge for me. While I was searching for a digital media-related job, a friend suggested me an advertised job at Centangle Interactive. I applied for the position and was shortlisted for an interview. At first, I was very nervous because I had never given an interview specific to digital media, also Centangle Interactive was a new name for me.
The interview went quite well and in a few days, I was given a trial period offer of one month based on my ambition to grow in the digital media field. I was quite excited and did my best to show improvement in learning new things.
After the trial period, I have been given the role of Digital Marketing and
Communications Manager. I look after sales, marketing, and communications under Centangle’s Digital Media arm.
I have been lucky to have people around me who helped me to learn and understand industry-specific practices. Right now, I’m dealing with sales funnels where we build custom sales funnels for our clients globally.
I also get to interact directly with national and international clients and customers. At the same time, I also help manage content forCentangle products.
The environment at Centangle Interactive is quite different than my existing workplaces. It’s more open with a shared workspace which allows easy access to other team members.
I look forward to improving my skills and contribute towards the progress of the company in the coming months.
